Frequently asked questionS!

  1. How do I wash my HAPPY WRAPS?
Cleaning your wraps is easy! Simply rinse wrap under cool to lukewarm water. DO NOT USE HOT WATER. If you have any food that is stuck on your wrap like crumbs or leftover sauce, etc, feel free to use a little bit of naturally derived soap. I like to lay my wraps flat in an empty sink and give a gentle scrub. Air dry out of direct sunlight. I personally lay mine on my dish rack.

  2. How long will my HAPPY WRAPS last?

Great question! I tell everyone to expect 1-2 years with normal use and washes, but I do have friends using the same wraps 3 plus years later! The life of your wrap depends entirely on how often it was used, what it was used for, and how well it was cared for. I also like to let people know that if a wrap feels less malleable and sticky, working the wrap in your hands for a few minutes helps bring it back to life!

  3. How do I wrap up produce? Can the wrap touch the fruit or vegetable?

The answer is YES! You want to have direct contact with your veggies. It doesn’t have to be a sophisticated job either, just simply cover your item the best you can until completely wrapped. Your produce will LOVE the pine resin which has anti-microbial properties. A common question is, “does the smell of onions penetrate into the wrap”? I personally have never had an issue, go for it! They will keep your onions, peppers, squash, broccoli, asparagus, etc crunchy for weeks! Cut avocados amaze me the most! I say your avo’s will stay fresh for about 4-5 days. Cover your bread and cheeses too!

  4. What’s the wrap on sizes?

Below are the sizes that I offer and a food or dish to give you an idea of what you can wrap. Hope this helps!

MEDIUM 8” X 8” - Good for a standard cereal bowl, a medium onion, jars, top of a blender or even an English muffin sandwich! A great size!

LARGE 12” x 12” - My personal favorite size! Great for those salad bowls, half of a watermelon, a head of cabbage or even make yourself a great snack or sandwich size baggie!

EXTRA LARGE 12” x 16” - This size is fantastic! Big enough for your largest 13x9 casserole dish at home…just remember to let your casserole cool off first ;) Make a big gallon size baggie. Wrap up a smaller loaf of bread or a big cheese plate for a dinner party. If you find you don’t use this one often you could even cut this wrap into smaller sizes! A great size to have.

  5. How do I make a baggie?

Simply take any sized wrap, fold to just about in half, fold in the sides once or twice to create an open envelop, then simply fold over the top sealing your baggie. Good to go!

  6. My new wraps left a little sticky residue on my dish, help!

No need to fret! If your new wraps leave any stickiness on your favorite dish, simply rub some olive or vegetable oil on your dish, let sit, give a scrub and rinse off with hot water. Easy!
